My Military Journey

In 1979, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps before even finishing high school. I completed two years of schooling in one year while serving my country and went on to graduate 4th in my class at Marine Scout Sniper School.

I became a Scout Sniper Instructor and served as an Officer of the Provost Marshal in the Philippines. Over the next four years, I received specialized training that shaped the discipline and endurance I still carry today.

Training & Special Operations

My military education included:

Counter-guerrilla operations and insurgent tactical training

Terrorist tactics and anti-terror operations

Marine NCO School, squad leadership, and small arms mastery

Jungle Environmental Survival Training (Philippines)

Mountain Warfare School (three months, Korea, 1981)

Mountain climbing and rope rigging (Pisgah National Forest, NC)

Spy rigging (California & Japan)

Aerial helicopter assaults and STA (Surveillance Target Acquisition) team operations

S-2 Intelligence field education and clearance at the Secret level

Law Enforcement & Tactical Training

After active duty, I continued to serve by training SWAT teams and law enforcement officers across the country.

Designed and led sniper warfare and counter-terrorist operations courses
Created a two-day rappelling & high-risk entry seminar for SWAT
Produced a nationally recognized training video on sniper tactics
Authored a three-day Sniper Training Certification Program (urban warfare, concealment, survival)
